Description WHISTLE POST MERLOT Colour: Good depth of colour with lively purple hues. Aroma: Rich Red currant colour supported by a subtle fragrant bouquet. Palate: Soft avours of small berry fruits supported by ne oak and slightly savoury tannins, providing good length and balance. Vintage Conditions: Coonawarra vintage was an excellent vintage which was characterised by a warm, dry summer and then a cool autumn.A warm, fast owering period saw an even fruit set with high berry numbers per bunch. A late “Indian summer” aorded winemakers the opportunity to steadily pick the grapes without the pressure of an early season break.These conditions have been optimal for our reds
