It is formed mainly from aluminum,  natrium, calcite, sulphur,  and minute crystals of pyrite. It is characterized by the hardness of 5-5.5 on the Mohs scale and the Isometric crystal system. Lapis Lazuli can be found in a few countries, including Afghanistan, Egypt and Chile.   MAIN STONE PROPERTIES Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli is referred to as the Erotic stone and is connected to Aphrodite.  Useful in attracting new friends, and ensuring the continuing love of old ones.
